Christmas time is my absolute favourite. There is just something in the air. It’s never been about the presents under the tree, but the presence around the tree. It’s a time to come together, creating memories laughing and being merry. This Christmas was special as Eric and I created some new traditions and one of them was Christmas morning Ginger Nog!
This warming and slightly spicy nog lasted all of two minutes. A pleasantly nutrient dense smoothie packed with vital vitamins and minerals such as iron, calcium, magnesium, vitamin B6, selenium and potassium. Its blood sugar regulating, anti-inflammatory and digestive supporting effects, got me thinking lets have another!
Ginger Nog Recipe
1 cup almond milk
1 inch ginger
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tbsp organic peanut butter
1 tbsp molasses
Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend and enjoy!
