Protein Pancake- Candida Approved!

 

Chances are you are spending more than 10 minutes worrying about not having enough time to eat in the morning. Let's just solve that problem right now. No need to wonder what on earth you have time for, just whip one of these bad boys up in less than 10 and carry on! 

 

These gluten free pancakes are super filling and super quick. No fuss, no mess, just the stick to your bones kind of breakfast you need to get the day started. 

 

Protein Pancakes

Serves 1

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp coconut oil

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp buckwheat flour (can be swapped for oat flour if you find the buckwheat too dense) 

  • 2 tbsp coconut flour

  • 2 full droppers of Sweat Leaf Stevia

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

 

Method:

  1. In a small bowl combine all ingredients, except coconut oil.

  2. In a frying pan over medium heat, begin by melting coconut oil.

  3. Once melted place pancake batter (it will be thick, this is normal) in your pan and pat down into a flat patty. 

  4. Cover and cook for 3 minutes

  5. Flip, then cover and cook for additional 3 minutes

Toppings: 3/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, sprinkle of hemp hearts, maple syrup.

 

Note: For candida cleansers, swap maple syrup for nut butter
