Bye Bye Nausea Tea
There is no doubt that nausea is far from a good time, leaving you feeling hot, lightheaded and likely wanting to avoid food. As we chatted about earlier, the cause of nausea may vary, so consider these other ways you can ease your nausea while sipping on your tea.
Eat smaller meals
Peppermint Essential Oils: Rub coconut oil on your tummy and add 1-2 drops of peppermint essentail oils
Avoid carbonated fluids that may produce gas
Address your stress: Go for a walk, get some fresh air
Make sure your bowels are moving 2-3 times a day
Bye Bye Nausea Tea
Ingredients:
1 inch ginger root (or 1 ginger tea bag)
1 tsp dried chamomile (or 1 chamomile tea bag)
1/2 lemon
1 cup water
Method:
Peel ginger root and slice.
In a small pot add ginger and water and bring to a boil. Let boil for 2 minutes, then turn off and let sit for 2 minutes.
Pour into a mug and add chamomile (you can put it in a reusable tea bag or in a tea ball for steeping).
Let steep for 3-5 minutes.
Remove chamomile and squeeze half a lemon into your tea.
Sip and enjoy.
Note: If you are using ginger and chamomile tea bags simply boil 1 cup of water, add tea bags, lemon juice and let steep for 3-5 minutes.
