3 Ingredient Butt Balm For Sore Bums

This is for you if you fall into one of these two categories...

1. You are constipated but feel like you've got to go and so you find yourself making frequent visits to the toilet only to poop out what looks pellet poop and feels like passing rocks. The frequent wiping has your bum feeling raw and irritated and even the fluffiest of toilet papers just stick to your butt and add insult to injury.

2. You have diarrhea and are wondering how it's even possible for Niagara Falls to be rushing out of your body 10+ times per day. Either way your butt feels raw and irritated and the fluffiest of toilet papers are sticking to your ass too!

The pleasures of IBS right here folks...

A raw bum!

Not something you probably feel like asking your best friend about, or maybe you do, but I imagine it would sound a little something like this...

"Hey Janet, my ass is pretty chapped got a DIY recipe I can borrow?"

Even the best of best friends probably won't be able to help you out of this pickle so I've got you covered!

Butt Balm

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup shea butter

  • 8 drops chamomile essential oil or lavendar essential oil (cheaper option)

Method:

  • Gently warm coconut oil in a small pot over low heat. We don't want it getting too warm as we will be adding in essential oils. Turn off heat just before all oil is melted. Continue stirring.

  • Add in shea butter and whisk until combined and smooth

  • Add in chamomile essential oil or lavendar if you are looking for a cost effective option. Both will be great for soothing irritated skin.

  • Transfer to a container of choice and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to let it set.

  • Store at room temperature.
